For over 250 years, the Glenturret has been producing some of the most exclusive and prestigious malt whiskies in the world. Each of the company’s products has been hand crafted by Robert Dalgarno, a renowned whisky maker. These limited-edition bottles are presented in a beautiful Lalique glassware that captures the natural beauty of Scotland.
Records show that the Glenturret used to dig a huge amount of peat from the moss that was found in one of their water sources during the 1800s. Today, they only use a small amount of this in our products, and it is used alongside the non-peated spirit in the 10 Years Old Old Peat Smoked. This blend brings together the company’s two different styles, which are the American and European oak barrels. The resulting blend has a higher strength of 50%.

New York Sour
This recipe is based on the classic Whiskey Sour, but with one difference: it uses a half ounce of dry red wine. If that doesn’t sound like much, just wait until you taste it. (The key to this drink is freshly squeezed lemon juice.
1/2 ounce dry red wine
2 ounces blended whisky
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Garnish with lemon.
How to make:
In a cocktail shaker, combine the ingredients for the drink, including the simple syrup and lemon juice. Shake well until chilled. Strain into a chilled glass.
The first thing you’ll notice is the smoke. It’s not overwhelming, just a hint of woodsy, smoky goodness that lingers on your palate. A pinch of saltiness from the sea is next, followed by dark hints of smokiness. You might even catch a whiff of warm spices and vibrant citrus fruits flicker in the flames.
