With medium to high acidity and/or medium tannins, these are quintessential foodie wines. Beautiful, clear and red in color. A seductive nose with hints of wild strawberry, sweet vanilla, smoked wood, dried meat and pine. Elegant, fresh and supple with satin smooth, yet quite powerful tannins and salty, very long, fine finish.

Food pairing

Lamb and game, rich stews

It shouldn’t come as a surprise this is so well made seeing it is from one of Bulgaria’s most awarded wineries. Still, blind I would have called Burgundy. Pale cherry, with developed sweet red fruits on the nose. Same on the palate that’s surprisingly savoury and with added leather & spice. Very good acidity, fresh, smooth. Serve slightly chilled.
