Description

A single vineyard Nebbiolo from the Curra Cru in Barbaresco which the Rocca family acquired in 2001. The vines are 50-60 years old with roots buried deep in limestone-clay soils with ash deposits. Full bodied, ruby red with delicate floral and red fruit notes, silky smooth tannins and high acidity. A long persistent finish. Benchmark Barbaresco with a full and elegant mouthfeel. Vegan, Vegetarian, Sustainable and Practising Organic. As with all Nebbiolo, this wine pairs really well with chicken stir fry, roast chicken, oven roasted pork with barbeque sauce, beef, veal or risotto with mushrooms or truffles, tomato based sauces, garlic, olives, spice driven Asian dishes.
